About PeerWealthy

I built PeerWealthy because I was tired of not knowing if I was doing okay financially.

Every article about money compares you to averages that don't make sense. "The average American saves X" — but that includes 22-year-olds and 55-year-olds, people in San Francisco and people in rural Kansas. It's useless.

What I wanted was simple: How do I compare to people like me?Same age, same city, same career stage. Are my savings normal? Am I spending too much on rent? Is my income where it should be?

That's what PeerWealthy does. You answer a few questions — takes about 90 seconds — and we show you where you stand. No bank connections, no complicated setup. Just honest context.

The $1.99 covers server costs and keeps the lights on. That's it. No subscriptions, no upsells, no selling your data.

What we believe

Context over comparison

Comparing yourself to celebrities or strangers online is useless. We show you how you stack up against people in your actual situation.

Privacy first

No bank connections. No exact amounts. Just ranges. Your data is anonymized and never sold. We built this the way we'd want it built for ourselves.

Clarity, not anxiety

Financial apps often make you feel bad. We want you to feel informed. Knowing where you stand — even if it's not where you want to be — is the first step.

Small and sustainable

We're not trying to become a unicorn. A one-time payment covers costs and lets us focus on making something useful, not chasing growth metrics.
